Job Purpose
To plan, implement, manage and report concurrent business system solution projects from Project Pre-Sales (initiation) to Customer Go Live (hand over) within agreed time-scales and budgets.
Project Management
 Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the customers.
 Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
 Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
 Reviews deliverables before passing to client.
 Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
 Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
 Minimises our exposure and risk on project.
 Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Project Accounting
 Tracks and reports team hours, spent and to be spent, including expenses, on a weekly basis to ensure effective budget control.
 Manages project budget.
 Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
 Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
 Analyses project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilisation.
Financial Management
 Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
 Understands our pricing model and billing procedures.
 Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilisation.
 Ensures project legal documents are completed and signed.
Business Development
 Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
 Leads proposal efforts including completing project scoping and APM assessments.
 Effectively conveys our message in both written and verbal business development discussions.
Communication
 Facilitates client meetings effectively.
 Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
 Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
 Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Technical Understanding
 Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
 Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
 Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities.
 Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
Teamwork
 Participates as a full member of the team though not necessarily the leader
 Effective contributor
Client Management
 Manages day-to-day client interaction.
 Sets and manages client expectations.
 Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
 Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.

 Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, organisation and objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience of project managing software implementation
Experience of running multiple concurrent projects is essential
ERP knowledge
Ideally previous experience of Sage (not a must)
