Building new functionality for some of the largest Retail Betting systems in the world 2. Producing robust, clear, polished, code in a short amount of time 3. Designing solutions that are modular, scalable, extendable and portable 4. Working with customers to extract requirements and agree the best designs Tasks/Duties: 1. Software Coding , bug fixing & unit testing 2. Interact with client to understand/clarify/fix issues 3. Handle Support issues that get raised 4. Perform Analysis and Specification of requirements for development 5. Handle code review, integration and builds for release to client 6. Undertake Investigation and estimation of issues for development 7. Perform any other duties required from time to time Candidate Requirements: Essential Skills The skills, knowledge and experience for this role are indicated as follows: 1. Good SQL 2. C# experience 3. VB6/ VB.NET Knowledge: 1. Intuitive debugging ability Experience: 1. Ability to work independently and proactively 2. Committed with the drive to achieve success 3. Enthusiastic 4. Able to estimate work, prioritise it and to deliver on time 5. A desire to take responsibility 6. An inquiring and questioning approach to development 7. Good communication skills at all levels 8.
